The new year has got off to a good start. i-Pulse recently
launched the new M20 which has replaced the M6 as their flagship SMT placement
machine, and we have just completed the first
M20 installation at Teknoflex in Chichester. We have also recently
finished installing 39 X-Treme Dry storage cabinets at Ultra Electronics. These
were special low humidity storage cabinets with Nitrogen.
There is currently a lot of interest in the new ‘Prisma HD’
PCB inspection system which uses a high definition camera to show a crystal
clear magnified view of assembled PCB’s on an HD television monitor. The images are quite stunning, and it has to
be seen to be believed!
We are also carrying out our first demonstrations of the Riebesam
high end PCB cleaning machine. Early demonstrations are with Zestron’s Vigon
cleaning solution mixed 20% with water and this is so far giving excellent
results. We are inviting potential customers to our Coventry demo room for
trials.
We will be exhibiting at the Southern Manufacturing
exhibition (15th – 16th Feburary) and we very much hope that we will
see a good number of our customers there.
