For SMD parts on tapes feeders from 8 - 52 mm strip-width are available. All feeders are intelligent (smartFEEDER® functionality). They are mounted securely to the machine. For 0402 and smaller components, a half-step feeder is available

Block Feeders

The block feeder holds twice as many 8 mm tapes as a normal feeder. This makes it possible to build up a generous standard kitting on the PlaceALL® machine. If the machine is used in line, a maximum of 100 tape reels can be fed into the machine. The maximum number of tape reels for stand alone use is 200.

Stick Feeders

Stick feeders will accept complete component-sticks direct from the supplier, so that sensitive parts don't have to be needlessly decanted. The stick feeder is operated by compressed air, the parts are covered until they are picked up to ensure a safe delivery.

Short Tape Strip Feeders

When assembling prototype runs, non reeled short tape-strips are often used. With this feeder up to ten 8 mm strips (or fewer, but wider strips) can be fed simultaneously.

LED Feeders

This feeder type was developed for feeding leaded LEDs, cuts them to a defined length and then places them. This is especially useful for large matrix displays.

Tray Feeders

Several tray feeders can be located inside the placement area of the PlaceALL® The placement area can be adapted easily to varying projects and tasks.

Custom feeders

For custom projects, a number of different feeder types are available. Examples would be the feeding, cutting and placing of leaded LEDs or the bending of components to a specific shape. We can provide other custom solutions, please ask for details.

Vibratory feeder

Stick feeders are operated by compressed air, and can carry large and small sized components side by side. During feeding, a pneumatic-driven cover holds the parts to prevent jamming and ensure smooth travel of the components through the tube.
